Shipping Locations
The River Kart currently ships products to most locations across India. Orders are generally processed and shipped within 24 hours of order confirmation, subject to availability and operational conditions.
Shipping Charges
A flat shipping charge of ₹50 is applicable on all orders below ₹699, calculated on the order value excluding COD charges, shipping charges, taxes, or any discount applied through coupons or offers.
Free shipping is available on orders ₹699 and above at select locations only (excluding COD charges, shipping charges, taxes, or discounted value after offers). For locations where free shipping is not applicable, additional shipping charges may be levied even if the order value meets the free-shipping threshold.
In locations where additional charges apply, the standard ₹50 shipping charge will be added to all orders below ₹699, along with any applicable location-based charges.
The shipping cost for each product can be checked by entering your PIN code on the product page. The total shipping charge for your order will be displayed clearly in the cart and at checkout.
Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable in case of order cancellation or product return.
Shipping Charge Modifications
The River Kart reserves the right to revise shipping charges at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be reflected on the product page and during checkout before order placement.
Special Offers
From time to time, The River Kart may run promotional offers such as free shipping for a limited period. These offers will be governed by their specific terms and conditions.
Convenience Charges
In certain cases, The River Kart may apply convenience charges based on factors such as product type, shipment size, or delivery PIN code. These charges are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or return.
Estimated Delivery Time
For locations serviced by reputed courier partners, delivery typically takes 3 to 7 business days from the date of dispatch (excluding Sundays and public holidays).
Orders containing items weighing over 2 kg or bulky products may require additional delivery time. In areas not covered by private courier services, orders may be shipped via India Post, with delivery timelines ranging from 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the location.
Customers are advised to enter their PIN code on the product page to view the estimated delivery timeline for their area.
Delivery timelines may be affected by MHA or state government guidelines, natural disruptions, or unforeseen circumstances.
Address Change
Delivery address modifications are permitted only if the order is in Confirmed or Pending status and has not yet been shipped. Any difference in shipping charges or taxes due to the updated address may impact the approval of the change request.
Hidden Charges
All product prices displayed on The River Kart website are inclusive of applicable taxes. There are no additional charges such as octroi or sales tax beyond what is shown at checkout.
International Shipping
At present, The River Kart does not offer international shipping. Orders can only be delivered within India.
Order Tracking
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email containing the courier partner name and tracking number. Tracking details may take up to 24 hours to become active.
Non-availability at Delivery Address
Our delivery partners will make up to three delivery attempts before marking the shipment as undeliverable. Providing a valid and reachable mobile number at checkout helps ensure smooth and timely delivery.
