This Return and Refund Policy governs the return and refund of products purchased by users (“User”, “you”, “your”) through the Website.

By accessing or using the Website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by this Return and Refund Policy along with the Terms and Conditions available on the Website. If you do not agree with this Policy, you are advised not to place any order.

1. Applicability of the Policy

This Policy applies to all purchases of products made through the Website. The River Kart reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this Policy at any time without prior notice. Users are encouraged to review this Policy periodically to remain informed of any changes.

2. Return Policy

We make every effort to ensure that products are delivered accurately and in good condition. However, a return request may be initiated under the following circumstances:

  • The order is incomplete
  • The product received is expired
  • The product is damaged
  • An incorrect product has been delivered
  • The prescription has been changed by the doctor
  • In the unfortunate event of the patient’s demise

To be eligible for a return, the User must notify The River Kart within 7 (seven) days from the date of receipt of the product. Any request made after this period shall not be entertained, and The River Kart shall not be liable thereafter.

It is the User’s responsibility to verify whether a product is returnable or non-returnable before placing an order. Products marked as non-refundable cannot be returned under any circumstances.

3. Return Exceptions

Returns, replacements, or exchanges shall not be permitted for the following categories:

  • Injections
  • Health monitors and medical equipment
  • Orthopedic support products

Additionally, products clearly marked on the product page as “Non-Returnable” or “Not Eligible for Refund or Exchange” shall not be accepted for return under any circumstances. The River Kart reserves the right to reject any return request that does not comply with this Policy.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds shall be processed by The River Kart under the following conditions:

A full refund may be issued if:

  • The product is defective
  • The product is lost or damaged during transit
  • The product received has passed its expiry date

If a return request is initiated for reasons attributable to the User, The River Kart may, at its sole discretion, accept the request subject to the deduction of a restocking fee. The refund amount shall be calculated after deducting the applicable restocking fee. The River Kart reserves the right to revise the restocking fee from time to time without prior notice.

All returned products must be unused, unopened, undamaged, and in a condition suitable for resale. Products that show signs of use, damage, tampering, or wear shall not be eligible for a refund.

5. Mode and Timeline of Refund

Refunds shall be processed using the original mode of payment or any other method deemed appropriate by The River Kart.

  • Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking refunds may take 7 to 10 working days to reflect in the User’s account, depending on the bank’s processing timelines.
  • Wallet refunds, if applicable, shall be credited within 24 hours.

6. Cash on Delivery (COD) Refunds

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, Users must contact The River Kart by emailing contact@theriverkart.com or calling 9873302836 to initiate a refund request. Refunds may be processed either to the User’s wallet or directly to the User’s bank account upon submission of valid bank details.

Any unused wallet balance at the time of account deactivation shall be transferred to the User’s registered bank account.

7. Direct Bank Refunds

The River Kart may directly process refunds to the User’s bank account in cases including but not limited to:

  • Excess charges collected from the User
  • Any other scenario where the amount rightfully belongs to the User

Refunds shall generally be processed to the original source of payment unless otherwise specified.
